This site provides paper models of ships in various scales of sailing ships, ironclads, and boats, including the HMS Mary Rose 1545(1:96), USS Bonhomme Richard, 1779 (1:98), a Phoenician Gaoul ca. 1100BCE. (1:72), USS Monitor 1862 (1:200), CSS Virginia, 1862 (1:200), a Seminole Naval Barge, 1839(1:40) and a Seminole/Naval war canoe, 1839 (1:40). These are built plank-on-frame, similar to wooden ship models.
Paper Train Models are available for the John Barnett (Seaboard), the Tornado (Raleigh & Gaston), the Tom Thumb (B&O), and the Best Friend of Charleston (Southern). These models are in HO or G scale, (the Tom Thumb is also available in N scale) and come complete with instructions and historical notes and a train of cars and coaches, an early 50# track base, and engineering notes. These are fully downloadable models. Should you wish to expand, additional cars and coaches are available for download, including an 1830 Imlay Coach, a Green (Hoboken) Coach, a gondola or stock car, a flat car, and an early house or box car as well as additional track sections and manual turntables. All models represent early American Railroads from 1830-1837.
Railroad Buildings are available in HO scale and include Freight/ Passenger terminals from the 1830s, an Engine shed, car and coach barns, and a way-station, including water tower and wood-rick, from the 1830s, prototypical for the period. These come with historical notes and instructions, as well as notes on other railroad buildings, including shops, employee housing, and railroad-associated hotels, bridges and trestles. Examples of period railroad employee and passenger dress can also be obtained by downloading.
Early Florida buildings in 1:68 can also be downloaded to include a Blockhouse, Taylor's Square Fort, Seminole Chiki (house), or multiple Chikis to construct a village. These buildings come with historical notes and instructions and can be downloaded to your shopping cart.
Paper soldiers, complete with fronts and backs, can be downloaded to your cart and include Continental Marines, British Infantry of the Revolution, Spanish Infantry of the Revolution (1775-1783), British dragoons, Royal Artillery, Spanish Artillery, the British Train of specialty wagons and carts, The Spanish Train, and a British Military Band. These soldiers are printed in full-color on separate front and back sheets, and are sold as On Parade, Attacking, or Working. These are sold as individual front-and-back sheets, or booklets, which come with historical notes about the units depicted. Artillery comes complete with teams, limbers, guns and crews while trains include supply wagons, carts, and ambulances with teams and crews.
